Westminster Abbey
You can see all of London solo, but there are some sights you just don’t want to miss. Westminster Abbey is one of these. A firm favourite of the British Royal Family, it has been the venue of 17 royal weddings, the most recent of which was the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton on 29th April, 2011. This UNESCO World Heritage site has been the coronation church for every British monarch since 1066, and over 3,300 people have been buried or commemorated in its grounds, including Chaucer, Newton, Darwin and Dickens.
