About the Beefeater Gin Distillery

Beefeater Gin Distillery uses a hand-crafted recipe that has remained virtually unchanged since the 1800s. Building on the legacy of London’s dry gin, the distillery set a new standard for the drink across the world. Remaining true to its sense of heritage, the distillery is housed in an Edwardian building with a 1950s extension and features Victorian pot stills and a botanical room where fresh ingredients are stored.

Beefeater Gin facts

  • Beefeater Gin accounts for three out of every four bottles of gin imported into the US, and in 1963, was the only gin selected to be on board the maiden voyage of the QEII to New York.
  •  Have you tried Burroughs Reserve? The spirit is brewed in James Burrough’s original Still No. 12. With a capacity of only 268 litres, the exclusive cask-rested spirit has the heart and soul of the original drink.

"We found that the things we wanted to see in London were covered by the London Pass. We heard of the London Pass when we were arranging our BritRail Pass and we investigated how much it would cost to see everything we wanted. We found the convenience of the pass and the cost far outweighed just showing up at the venues and lining up for tickets. We even went to a few venues we didn't have on our "must see" list. Great value...would purchase again & recommend it to others."
