Set within the abandoned ancient church of St Mary’s, this unique museum features three major exhibitions on various aspects of the garden. Displays include artefacts from the museum's collection of paintings, garden tools and ephemera. 

Built in 1980, the museum’s garden features a replica 17th-century knot garden inspired by legendary gardeners John Trandescant senior and junior, who have a tomb in the garden.
