London Attraction Closures & Notices

LONDON PASS EXCEPTIONAL CLOSURES 

Please find below a list of exceptional closures and opening time changes at London attractions. This information is correct at the time of issue and is subject to change at short notice, at the discretion of the attraction. If there is an attraction you particularly want to visit, we advise contacting them in advance to double check the opening hours. You can find telephone numbers in your guidebook and on our website.

LATEST TRANSPORT NEWS

LATEST ATTRACTION CLOSURE INFORMATION

Please note that adverse weather conditions can impact on some tours and cruises. Particularly susceptible to bad weather closures are the Thames River cruises and walking tours. If the forecast is poor, check before you travel!

Please note - as this is a working church, access may be limited during peak times

Apsley House
Wednesday - Sunday: 11.00 - 17.00 (last admission 30 minutes before closing), Closed Monday & Tuesday

Arsenal FC - Emirates Stadium

Banqueting House
Banqueting House is closed on Thursdays

Banqueting House is guaranteed to open from 10.00 - 13.00 Monday to Sunday, but often closes in the afternoon at short notice for functions and events. Before visiting, to ensure that the Banqueting House will be open, please call 020 3166 6155 / 6154 / 6152

Buckingham Palace
Summer Opening of the State Rooms
The State Rooms at Buckingham Palace are open annually during the summer months when the Palace is not in use for official functions.
Opening times 2019
20 July – 31 August 2019 Open daily, 09:30-19:30 (last admission 17:15)
1 – 29 September 2019 Open daily, 09:30-18:30 (last admission 16:15)

Chelsea Physic Garden
Mondays - Garden only 11.00 - 17.00, Cafe & Shop closed
Tuesday - Friday: Garden & Shop 11.00 - 18.00; Cafe 11.00 - 17.00
Sundays & Bank Holidays: Garden, Cafe & Shop 11.00 - 18.00

The Courtauld Gallery
Closed from 3 September 2018 for 2 years for major renovation project 

Curzon Chelsea Cinema
Closed from 31 March - 2021 for renovations

Eltham Palace
Please note, due to unforeseen circumstances there will be some room closures at Eltham Palace and Gardens until further notice. Those with access limitations will not be able to access the palace. The Visitors Centre and Orchid House tea room will be open as usual.

Please note: Kensington Palace will be closed to the public 6-17 January 2020 for essential maintenance work.

Hampton Court Palace
Please note: the Tennis Courts and Magic Garden are only open during Summer months.

Tower Bridge Exhibition

Tower of London
During Summer Holidays (15 July - 3 September), it is expected to be extremely busy. It is strongly advised to arrive as early as possible. 
No Fast-Track Entry until further notice

Twickenham Stadium Tours
Closed Mondays/ Sundays after Match Days

The V&A
Please note – during times when no paid exhibition is showing, visitors will instead receive a free V&A guidebook* instead. *Not available during exhibition periods.

Wembley Stadium Tours

The Wernher Collection at Ranger's House
Entry is by Guided Tour only.
Tour Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 11:00 and 14:00 (Closed other days). Tours last about 1.5 hours. Booking is recommended, especially on Sundays (there is a maximum of 25 per tour); please call the Eltham Palace contact number on 0208 294 2548. 

Westminster Abbey
The Abbey is a very popular attraction. During summer, Easter and Christmas holidays, queue times may exceed 90 minutes. We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before the advertised closing time to allow for security checks.
