Chelsea slump to another league loss
Last Updated: Mon 1 Dec 2008

Chelsea lost their second home game of the Premier League season on Sunday against a spirited Arsenal team.

Despite the home side going 1-0 to the good on the half-hour thanks to an uncharacteristic Johann Djourou own goal, Arsenal emerged after the interval with renewed vigour.

Robin Van Persie then struck twice in three minutes to silence the Stamford bridge faithful and consign Chelsea to their second home league defeat of the campaign, after the first saw them end their remarkable unbeaten home record in the top flight.

The loss saw Chelsea fail to stretch their advantage over Liverpool, who could go top of the table if they win their game in hand at home to West Ham tonight.

Fans of the Blues and keen football followers of any allegiance can enjoy free entry to the Chelsea FC Stadium Tour at Stamford Bridge with their LondonPass, saving £15 for adults and £9 for children.ADNFCR-1693-ID-18905107-ADNFCR
