Experience the arts at London attractions
Last Updated: Fri 5 Sep 2008

Those enjoying a London sightseeing holiday this month have until September 7th to visit the exhibition on Italy's Divisionist Painters at the National Gallery.

Admission to the attraction is free and visitors can see the way in which Italian Divisionism influenced the art of the 20th century.

Divisionism was an art movement developed in Milan during the 19th century and was based on the desire to explore symbolism through painting.

According to What's on When, the exhibition at the National Gallery features the work of renowned artists including Vittore Grubicy de Dragon, Giovanni Segantini and Gaetano Previati, along with futurist painters such as Giacomo Balla, Umberto Boccioni and Gino Severini.

Meanwhile, those with a passion for Italian art may wish to take a trip to the Estorick Collection, where the work of some of Italy's best modern artists is displayed.

Visitors to the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art can gain entry using their London Pass.
