Be an 'early bird' at the Tower of LondonVisitors to the Tower of London can get the most out of their trip by availing of the attraction's "early bird" scheme.
Until August 30th, families arriving at the tower before 10:30 BST will have the opportunity to take part in a range of early morning activities.
Children can enjoy the White Tower Tour at 10:00 and meet the ravenmaster for a talk at 10:30.
Families can even enjoy breakfast at the tower, with an early bird menu available at the Armouries restaurant between 09.30 and 11:00.
Meanwhile, those visiting the attraction before September 7th will have the opportunity to view medieval siege machines in the Tower Moat and learn how they were once operated.
Visitors using their London Pass to gain entry to the tower will also be able to visit a medieval shooting gallery and explore a reconstructed fighting platform.
Construction on the iconic Tower of London began almost 1,000 years ago with William the Conqueror.
