Best British days out at the Benjamin Franklin House and beyond

Summertime is nearly over but for one final August bank holiday weekend and for visitors to London, the Benjamin Franklin House is one of the hotly tipped places to be.
The Times lists the Benjamin Franklin House at number nine in its list of top 25 family days out in Britain.
According to the publication, on a family day out, guests can re-create one of Franklin's experiments.
Meanwhile, Kew Gardens was listed in tenth spot for its Year of the Tree festival and its Xstrata aerial walkway.
The Independent, meanwhile, suggests that during wet weather, gallery and museum visits are a great idea.
According to the publication, one which has a particular appeal for families is the National Trust Museum of Childhood.
The recently reopened museum underwent a £2.2 million refurbishment and its highlights include "chimney climbs for would-be sweeps, a Victorian schoolroom, interactive displays, and toy collections".
Visitors to the Benjamin Franklin House can gain entry to the venue using their London Pass.
