Lamentations at the Handel House MuseumVisitors to London can explore the theme of grief this autumn at the Handel House Museum.
The Baroque Encounter Trio is to reveal its own interpretation on the subject with a recital that delves into the depths of the heartache, anguish and sorrow that is grief.
Both "sacred and secular" pieces have been selected for this representation and audiences can expect changes in tempo and mood, from denial and depression to anger and defiance.
Furthermore, the Baroque Encounter Trio even explores the "peace of eternal rest" in its musical extravaganza.
Including vocal works by Bach and theatrical performance by Purcell and Handel, the Lamentations will take place on Thursday September 25th.
Counter tenor Glenn Kesby, Lauren Brant on recorder and Claire Williams on harpsichord are among the stars of this show.
Visitors to the Handel House Museum can gain entry to the venue using their London Pass.
