US kids 'will love Wimbledon Tour Experience'
Last Updated: Sun 20 Jul 2008

The Wimbledon Tour Experience has been described as "a thrill ... for tennis lovers of any age" and has also been named as one of the must see London attractions, by a US newspaper, for children visiting England's capital city.

According to the Dallas Morning News, Pollock's Toyshop is another venue likely to thrill children.

It notes that the "300-square-foot world of enchantment" was founded in the 1880s by Benjamin Pollock, now run by actor Peter Baldwin and his brother.

The publication also recommended the Museum of Childhood, noting that 40,000 annually visit the Museum of Childhood each year to marvel at the 4,500 objects on display.

The oldest dollhouses on show date back to 1673 and the collection even includes a dollhouse donated by Queen Elizabeth II which she received as at the age of six when she was still a princess in 1935.

The Peter Pan statue in Kensington Gardens and the Orangery is also listed as a favoutite among children, as is the Wimbledon Tour Experience - "a thrill ... for tennis lovers of any age".

Visitors to Wimbledon Tour Experience can gain entry to the venue using their London Pass.
