Visitors planning trips to London attractions such as the Chelsea Cinema could plan ahead to make the most of the upcoming film festival.

The London Film Festival 2010 is offering visitors a wide variety of films that are bound to appeal to audiences of all tastes and temperament.

It features movies based on an array of themes such as a break-up and Facebook, as well as about international cities such as Shanghai.

A large number of venues, including the Curzon Mayfair Cinema, will be showcasing films during the event.

Movie buffs will have the opportunity to view a number of new British films, such as Mandelson: The Real PM?, Patagonia, Edge, The Arbor and Fire in Babylon among others.

As far as international offerings are concerned, film lovers are spoilt for choice. On offer are movies like Jia Zhangke's I Wish I Knew, Caroline Kamya's Imani as well as a captivating account of the impact of social media in Catfish.
