Style icons revealed ahead of London event
Published: Wednesday 22nd of April 2009
Britain has voted for its style icons of the 20th century ahead of the Clothes Show, it has emerged.
Among those featuring in the poll is Bridget Bardot, who heads-up the best-dressed list from the 1960s, with The Beatles ranking in second place.
The 1990s list, however, sees Kate Moss taking the top spot, with Linda Evangelista, Erin O'Connor and Victoria Beckham making up the rest of the top four.
Set to be held between May 29th and 31st at London's Excel Centre, the event will see the winners of the 2009 style awards being announced.
Erin O'Connor was spotted at the Clothes Show back in 1995, with its organisers seeing it as fitting that the model featured in this latest survey.
Stylish tourists heading to London can take advantage of the London Pass, which will give them free entry to the Fan Museum, saving £4 per adult and £3 per child.
