Sarah Brown becomes Twitter hit
Published: Friday 5th of June 2009
The prime minister's wife Sarah Brown has become a surprise hit on Twitter, telling her followers of her daily life in and around London.
She told fellow Tweeters of picking strawberries in the garden and trips to the cinema, giving an insight into life at Number 10.
Fellow users of the social networking site also heard of a recent visit to a top London attraction as Sarah wrote: "Just enjoyed new look Children's Zoo at London Zoo and the water jets in the Splash Zone perfect for younger ones on a hot, hot day."
While her husband is believed to be undergoing a cabinet reshuffle, she also informed her followers of some of her public duties, including speaking at a reception for Chance UK.
People thinking of heading to the city can follow in Sarah's footsteps by taking a trip to London Zoo, which is free of charge with the London Pass.
