Sample Malaysian street food for things to do in London

Theatre-lovers heading to London attractions such as Shakespeare's Globe Theatre Tour & Exhibition could discover the cuisine of Malaysia while in the capital.

On Friday September 24th, Trafalgar Square will be transformed into a hub of Malaysian street food, serving up mouth-watering delicacies.

The efforts of 20 of the capital's restaurants, including Makan Cafe and L'ail Olive, have resulted in the Malaysia Night.

Visitors can dig into a dish of nasi goring or beef redang, or try out satay and laksa. There will also be the opportunity to buy some authentic Malaysian spices, herbs, sauces, pastes and other ingredients.

Stalls show casing art and crafts from the region will also be at hand for anyone interested in buying some original knick-knacks.

Visitors interested in making the most their time in London could also catch the West End premier of the Hollywood blockbuster Flashdance.
