Revel in the spirit of revolution for things to do in London
Published: Friday 9th of July 2010
A French summer festival is the best way to relive the spirit of Bastille Day and revellers can partake of the celebrations as part of their things to do in London.
In its second year running, the Bastille Day Garden Party will bring the essence of France to the streets of London with a celebration of everything French.
With a petanque competition, music and a French movie screening alongside a dance arena, the event promises a wide range of entertaining activities.
Families can make the most of the sun by having a picnic or strolling around the French market.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to enter a prize draw with some exciting prizes to be won.
Winners will be awarded with free tickets to go and enjoy some Parisian cabarets or a weekend getaway to the French capital.
Visits to Champagne and wine tastings as well as vouchers for French restaurants in London are also on the cards.
