Pink joins crowds in Trafalgar Square
Published: Friday 1st of May 2009
Pop superstar Pink has made a surprise appearance in London to film a new mobile phone advert.
The singer, who is currently touring the UK, showed up in Trafalgar Square to give a short performance and give her support to the T-Mobile ad.
She said: "What a fantastic experience. Everyone singing along together in the middle of London - it was incredible.
"I was thrilled to be a part of such an amazing event and to share it with so many people."
The new advert is to feature thousands of people singing and follows on from the mobile network's highly successful dance-related campaign.
On this occasion, 22 cameras panned round the audience, with participants singing hot songs including Summer Nights from Grease and Hey Jude by The Beatles.
Visitors to London can see Trafalgar Square for themselves, along with a number of other top attractions courtesy of the London Pass.
