London named most stylish city
Published: Tuesday 26th of May 2009
People thinking of visiting top attractions in London may find themselves among some rather stylish individuals, if a recent poll is anything to go by.
Conducted by the Clothes Show London, it reveals that the city is the most stylish in the UK, with Manchester and Birmingham ranking in second and third places respectively.
It did, however, lose out to Manchester when it came to the city with the most eclectic fashion taste and also ranked second in the city with the most fashion invention category.
The poll reveals that 29 per cent of Londoners would call themselves shoe-lovers and a quarter are open to new looks and styles.
Those heading for London with an interest in fashion might want to consider a trip to the Fan Museum in Greenwich.
With the London Pass, entry is free, saving £4 on the price of an adult ticket and £3 on a child's.
