London breakfast show comes out top again
Published: Saturday 9th of May 2009
Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon are still reigning supreme as top of the radio breakfast shows.
The duo had an average of 1.07 million listeners per week in the first quarter of this year, marking a nine per cent increase on figures from the previous three months.
During the same period a year ago, the radio double-act had just 943,000 listeners between 06:00 and 10:00 BST.
"This is such great news - I really feel we're striking the right balance and that Londoners are enjoying coming along for the ride," Vaughan told This is London.
He added that the early starts were now more worthwhile as a result of the latest figures.
Visitors to London can not only hear the highly-popular show for themselves, but can also take advantage of a number of top attractions with the London Pass.
Among them is Kew Gardens, which is celebrating its 250th anniversary this year.
