Celebrate gaming for things to do in London

Gamers heading to London attractions such as the Cartoon Museum can take advantage of an upcoming gaming event to be held in the capital.

The London Games Festival is packed a series of events that will no doubt appeal to gamers of all tastes and temperament.

It includes the Eurogamer Expo 2010, the London Games Conference 2010, the 28th Annual Golden Joysticks Awards and London Games Expo 18, among various others.

Visitors can also pick up some handy tips and learn about the gaming industry through workshops being organised by Megaton.

Aspiring game designers can take a crack at developing their own games and showcasing their skills at the event. They will also be given the opportunity of entering their creation in the BAFTA Young Game Designers context.

Those looking for a quirky evening out in London could also head to the Science Museum to view a collection of sex education videos developed over the past 100 years.
