Celebrate everything Japanese for things to do in London

Published: Thursday 30th of September 2010

If you are hardcore fan of anime, don't miss out on the Hyper Japan London 2010 taking place in the capital from October 1st to 3rd.

Visitors will be spoilt for choice with things to do at the exclusive festival, which features activities from Cosplay competitions and parades to a sushi challenge and a sake seminar.

Also on the cards will be screenings of anime movies such as Cowboy Bebop, The Vision of Escaflowne and Durarara! along with opportunities to meet the voice artists who are behind the popular Milky Holmes series.

Visitors can also try their hand at making an O-Bento meal. The workshop is aimed at helping people to make a healthy, wholesome and quick meal for lunch, breaking free from the standard sandwich options.

Learning the Para Para dance is just another example of soaking in Japanese culture and making the most of the unique opportunities at the festival.

Those interested in carrying on this celebration of animation can head to London attractions such as the Cartoon Museum to enrich their experiences further.
