Another odd choice for Jacko concerts?

Published: Thursday 26th of March 2009

Michael Jackson has hit the headlines in recent weeks for a number of reasons, but perhaps none as bizarre as this, if reports are to be believed.

According to the Daily Mirror, the pop star wants to ride an elephant on-stage at his London gigs later this year.

"He hopes to make it the most spectacular gig ever. For the jungle section, he wants to ride out on an African elephant with panthers led on gold chains," an insider reveals to the paper.

They add that parrots and other birds are also on the star's wish-list, which he believes will look "incredible" for the crowd at the O2 Arena.

Said to be his last on British soil, Michael Jackson will be playing 50 concerts at the London venue when his tour kicks off in June.

Why not take in some of London's sights when heading to the city for the gigs? With the London Pass, exploring the capital couldn't be easier.
