Shakespeare's Globe tour 'one of the most fascinating London attractions'
Published: Wednesday 12th of May 2010
The Shakespeare's Globe Theatre tour is recognised as one of the most fascinating London attractions, as it takes visitors back in time to an incredible era in the capital.
Based underneath the fantastic Globe theatre, the exhibition explores the life of the Bard himself and the London in which he lived, as well as the theatre for which he wrote.
"A fascinating guided tour inside the theatre reveals the story of its reconstruction and gives an exciting insight into the working life of the Globe," reports the London attraction's official website.
Meanwhile, a major new production of Shakespeare's classic play Henry VIII is set to open at the Globe Theatre this weekend.
Running from May 15th until August 21st, the ins and outs of the Tudor court will be thrilling audiences in what the Globe website states was seen in its own day as Shakespeare's "most sumptuous and spectacular play".
