Shake a leg at the Leytonstone Festival for things to do in London
Published: Thursday 22nd of July 2010
The Leytonstone Festival is packed with live entertainment, music gigs, art displays, drama as well as literary activities that are fit for the entire family.
Local artistes take centre stage at the festival, which brings Londoners as well as visitors together to celebrate the best of the city's art and music scene.
Some of the acts and artistes featured in the concert include a concert by the Woodford Symphony, experimental musicians MIX3, an eco-poetry event, Swing Jazz and Funk churned out by Quartzz as well as a summer fair organised by the Leytonstone Town Centre.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy a unique 'gong bath', which involves lying back on the grass in the summer sun and listening to sound of gongs.
