National Theatre to host David Hare production
Published: Monday 27th of July 2009
A unique look at the financial crisis is to be offered by the National Theatre, after it commissioned David Hare to write a new interpretation on the subject.
Set to open on October 6th, the Power Of Yes is directed by Angus Jackson and designed by Bob Crowley.
It will be held in the Lyttelton Theatre and is billed as "not so much a play but as a jaw-dropping account of how, as the banks went bust".
The production will also explore how socialism replaced capitalism, the National Theatre promises.
Any theatre fanatic heading to London can take advantage of the London Pass, which allows them to embark on a National Theatre Backstage Tour for free.
It will save £5.90 on the cost of an adult ticket and £4.90 on a child's, making a trip to the capital all the more enjoyable and affordable.
