National Theatre adds shows to NTL Live scheme
Published: Tuesday 19th of May 2009
More shows have been added to the National Theatre's NTL Live scheme, with some of which are to be broadcast in cinemas throughout the country.
There will be a total of three additions: All's Well that Ends Well, Nation and the Habit of Art.
Top stage stars will be on hand to perform leading roles, including Michael Gambon, Alex Jennings, Clare Higgings and Frances de la Tour.
Nicholas Hytner, director of the National Theatre, commented: "We've been thrilled by the response of cinemas around the world to this new experiment.
"It means we can reach tens of thousands of people in addition to our work in London and on tour."
With the London Pass, theatre-goers can get a unique look behind the scenes of the National Theatre.
Saving £5.90 per adult and £4.90 per child, the National Theatre Backstage Tours are a must-have for any fan of the arts.
