Learn about Faust for things to do in London

Visitors planning their trips to London attractions such as the Renoir Cinema can further enrich their experiences in the capital by catching the stage adaptation of Goethe's Faust.

Playing at the Young Vic, it is a musical and acrobatic adaptation of the classic text, set to the original score of Warren Ellis and Nick Cave.

Gisli Orn Gardarsson is the mastermind behind this production, brought to the capital by the Vesturport theatre company.

His take on the literary classic takes audiences across a journey tracing the rise and fall of the scholarly Faust and his ultimate damnation.

Visitors can also make a trip to the Curzon Mayfair Cinema to catch some of the films being showcased as part of the 2010 London Film Festival.

Movie buffs can choose from a wide range of films ranging from the best of home grown talent to internally reputable directors tackling a huge variety of themes and ideas.
