Indulge your poetic side for things to do in London
Published: Saturday 23rd of October 2010
The cultural venue is set to host the 2010 Poetry International festival from October 30th to November 7th.
This year's event is thematically based on war and peace and draws on the conflicts in the Middle East and Palestine for inspiration.
Benefitting from the participation of poets and artistes from a wide range of countries, the festival is packed with readings and performance events.
The poetry extravaganza would also see artists and curators from Palestine and London come together and spark off possible collaborative projects.
Young talented writers will be sharing their works alongside reading by veteran poets.
Visitors interested in continuing their experience of multicultural London could head to Barham Park to the catch the fireworks commemorating the Indian festival of Diwali in the evening.
