Harry Potter studios to become new London attraction
Published: Tuesday 31st of August 2010
Leavesden Studios, where the franchise is made, will be changed into a London tourist attraction, enabling visitors to explore the sets and view the doodles made by cast members on the walls of the building.
Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley in the films, explained how the doodles came about.
He said: "We used to write on the walls and they're actually turning the studio into an attraction, actually recreating all the rooms so you can go into them."
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park opened in Orlando, Florida earlier this year.
Enabling tourists to step into a scene from Harry Potter, the attraction features special effects and help from a live actor who guides visitors around the tour.
