Greenwich Summer Sessions offers things to do in London this July

Published: Thursday 15th of April 2010

Athlete will headline the Greenwich Summer Sessions at the Old Royal Naval College London attraction on July 25th.

This year's Summer Sessions performer list also includes the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra on July 22nd, as well as Jools Holland and the Rhythm and Blues Orchestra on July 23rd.

The event could bring a good end to days touring London attractions along the Thames, including the Tower Bridge Exhibition, The Monument and the HMS Belfast.

Summer Sessions creative producer and promoter Peter Conway explained: "Greenwich is a world-class destination point and the artists we have chosen to launch the first-year match in stature the ambitions of the borough and its residents."

Last month, the new Discover Greenwich centre opened at the Old Royal Naval College, enabling visitors to understand and appreciate the World Heritage site.
