Every Good Boy Deserves Favour at the National Theatre

Published: Wednesday 28th of January 2009

London's National Theatre is currently showing a critically-acclaimed play from Tom Stoppard.

Writer Tom Stoppard, of Shakespeare in Love fame, is behind Every Good Boy Deserves Favour, which tells the story of a dissident locked in an asylum, who can only leave if he admits he had been mad but was now cured.

Both the Times and Time Out magazine awarded the Felix Barrett and Tom Morris-directed production five stars, with superlatives such as "superb" and "startlingly original" being thrown about to describe it.

Music for the play being staged at this famous London attraction is by Andre Previn.

Every Good Boy Deserves Favour is playing on a number of days between January 28th and February 25th, with tickets ranging from £10 to £30.

London Pass holders can get a free backstage tour at the National Theatre, allowing them to see what really goes on behind the scenes at one of the top playhouses in the UK.
