Enjoying Macbeth can add to things to do in London

Families with young children can make the most of their time in the capital by experiencing some open-air theatre as part of their list of things to do in London.

With performances scheduled till the end of this month, William Shakespeare's Macbeth has been re-worked to suit audiences as young as six years-old.

Director Steve Marmion has compressed the drama while keeping the original text and dialogues to give viewers of all age brackets an enjoyable experience.

Visitors can add to their experience of the open-air theatre by visiting the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre Tour & Exhibition.

Recently, the capital played host to the London International Festival which gave theatre lovers the unique opportunity to enjoy both local and foreign works on the same platform.

Attendees saw a series of talks as well as open-air event to immerse themselves in all the artistic offerings of London.
