Enjoy an offbeat art exhibition for things to do in London

Published: Thursday 7th of October 2010

Visitors planning their trips to London attractions such as the National Gallery can now plan ahead to visit a really extraordinary exhibition.

The Museum of Everything is set to host its third show in the capital and will allow visitors to view some of the best works of alternative art.

It is a celebration of offbeat art forms and artists and has been put together under the guidance and mentorship of Sir Peter Blake.

Some of the artists whose work will be on display are Forrest Bess, Mose Tolliver, Kunizo Matsumoto, Madge Gill and Sam Doyle among others.

This year's exhibition has been inspired by fairground and circus themes and Victorian taxidermy tableaux.

Those interested in catching a flick during their time in the city could also head to the 2010 London Film Festival, which will be showcasing some of the best offerings of our times.
