Enjoy Picasso's paintings for things to do in London
Published: Wednesday 21st of July 2010
The exhibition benefits from the knowledge and insights of John Richardson, who was the biographer of the artist.
It has also been co-curated by Picasso's grandson Bernard Ruiz-Picasso and showcases works from the family's private collection.
Visitors will be able to view sculptures, linocuts and ceramics, as well as paintings that were created by the celebrated artist in the years after the war.
Titled Picasso: The Mediterranean Years (1945-1962), the event will be featuring portraits of his children Claude, Paloma alongside those of their mother Francoise.
Travellers can also fit in a trip to the National Theatre, which is presently hosting an exhibition celebrating the best of photography that have graced the British media in the past year.
