Dylan goes undercover on Beatles tour

Published: Thursday 14th of May 2009

Bob Dylan managed to go on a public tour of John Lennon's childhood home unnoticed by the rest of the group, it has emerged.

The singer was offered a private tour of the location, but instead opted to join in with other Beatles fans.

"He took one of our general minibus tours. People on the minibus did not recognise him apparently," a spokesperson for the National Trust said.

The 67-year-old is said to have paid £16 for the tour, which took visitors to Woolton in Liverpool.

Tourists heading to London in search of a piece of The Beatles' history can make sure they do it for less with the London Pass.

The all-new Legends Walking Tour takes visitors to various locations across the city, including the site where the world-famous band nearly got arrested.
