Charity Christmas celebration at the Royal Albert Hall

Published: Tuesday 9th of December 2008

One of the world's most famous concert venues will play host to a special charity Christmas concert on December 12th.

Held in aid of the CLIC Sargent charity and now in its 40th year, the Christmas Celebration at the Royal Albert Hall will see choirs of some 1,500 children perform on stage alongside a host of singing stars, which in the past has included the likes of Lemar, Joss Stone and Ms Dynamite.

The event will also see some top dance and circus acts delight the crowd with their antics.

CLIC Sargent is one of the UK's leading charities and is dedicated to caring for children with cancer. This event will raise awareness and the all-important funds that could make a difference to young people across the country.

Last year's concert raised over £140,000 and the 2008 event promises to top even that fantastic achievement.

LondonPass holders can enjoy free admission to the Royal Albert Hall guided tour, saving £8 for adults, as well as ten per cent off selected merchandise.
