Buy affordable art for things to do in London

Published: Tuesday 19th of October 2010

Visitors planning their trips to London attractions such as the National Gallery can now buy some art for themselves at the Affordable Art Fair.

The event will be showcasing works from a large number of artists and exhibiting a wide array of art, ranging from sculptures to photography, prints as well as paintings.

It welcomes both the young and old with a series of interactive workshops and talks aimed at giving budding artists a crack at making their own art.

The fair is also aimed at cultivating the love for art in kids and adults alike, through a series of activities aimed at exploring the depiction of food in art.

Visitors can also head to the Royal Albert Hall in order to enjoy a truly 'out of this world' experience.

The Close Encounters festival celebrates man's long fascination with extraterrestrial beings and quest to find out living organisms in the universe.
