Barlow plans Royal Albert Hall concert
Published: Friday 10th of July 2009
Take That star Gary Barlow has announced plans to hold a charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall later this year.
It will be held for Children in Need and will feature a whole host of acts, with Take That heading up the bill.
"I can promise a night to remember, a night that will, I hope, play a small part in changing the lives of disadvantaged children," the singer revealed.
All proceeds raised by the concert will be donated to the charity, which received £36 million during its 2008 fundraising efforts.
Gary Barlow was one of the celebrities to scale the heights of Mount Kilamanjaro for Comic Relief alongside other stars including Cheryl Cole, Alesha Dixon, Ronan Keating and Chris Moyles.
