Now in its 18th year, the events consists of a 1.5km swim, a 42km bike ride and 10km run, according to the Maidenhead Advertiser.
Formula One driver Jenson Button is a regular at the event and will be taking part in this year's race, aiming to break the two hours and 30 minutes barrier in the Olympic category.
He commented: "I really enjoy competing in triathlons, probably because I have total control over my race and the result, unlike F1 which is very much a team event."
