Published: Friday 23rd of October 2009

American Football fans planning a visit to London will be interested to hear that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are playing the New England Patriots this Sunday (25th October) in the Pepsi Max International Series Game at the Wembley Stadium.

Tom Brady, two-time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player of the 2007 NFL season, told the NFL that his team were "all very excited" about coming to London.

"This is a game we have been looking forward to ever since we knew we were coming across the Atlantic to play in London. This is a special game for us - it's a game that we will be remembering for the next 40 or 50 years of our lives," said Brady.

Fans who cannot make it to London this weekend, or are too busy visiting many of the amazing London attractions, need not worry as NFL UK managing director Alistair Kirkwood, speaking to, said a franchise could be based in London within the next six years, if the games at Wembley continue to flourish.
