Wembley Stadium Tour 'one of the magical London attractions'
Published: Tuesday 4th of May 2010
The Wembley Stadium Tour is well known as one of the extra special London attractions, because it leaves visitors with a lifetime of incredible memories.
Football fans will revel in the chance to "get behind the scenes, walk in the footsteps of legends, feel the magic", according to the stadium's official website.
Those who take the tour are able to get a sense of the tension and atmosphere in the England dressing room and the players' tunnel before climbing the sacred trophy winners' steps.
They can even raise a replica FA Cup just like their heroes, while wannabe managers can play at being the Italian maestro Fabio Capello by taking their place in the head coach's seat.
Other thrilling opportunities at the Wembley Stadium Tour include the chance to see the famous crossbar from the 1966 World Cup final, take a look at the Jules Rimet Trophy from the same year and also check out the torch that started London's 1948 Olympic Games.
Wembley Stadium is a mere nine-minute train journey from London Marylebone (Chiltern Line) and 12 minutes from Baker Street (Metropolitan Line).
