Things to do in London: Watch the world's best tennis players in action
Published: Monday 16th of November 2009
In five days, tennis fans will be able to take a break from London sightseeing and watch the world's best players battle it out at the Barclays Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour Finals.
The final tournament of the season is taking place between November 22nd and 29th in London's O2 arena.
Swiss Roger Federer and British number one Andy Murray are two of the eight contenders in the men's singles.
All eight of the tennis stars will all play three matches as they battle for a place in the semi-finals.
The world's best eight doubles teams, including Californian twins Bob and Mike Bryan, are also taking part in the tournament.
The O2 can be reached on the Jubilee line of the London Underground, which also has stations close to many other top London attractions, such as London Bridge and HMS Belfast - a large light cruiser and the only surviving vessel of her type to have seen active service during the Second World War.
