Things to do in London: Watch World Cup on big screen

Travellers planning their trips to London attractions can now make the most of their visit this sporting season by enjoying World Cup matches on giant screens across the city.

Watching the World Cup at Stamford Bridge, home of the celebrated Chelsea Football Club, would add another touch of glamour to the sporting experience.

Fans and enthusiasts can further revel in the true spirit of English football by coupling their World Cup experience with a Chelsea FC Stadium Tour.

World Cup devotees could take advantage of a music-cum-match experience at the Shepherd's Bush Pavilion. Visitors are being given the twin offer of match screenings alongside fresh tunes churned out by a DJ.

As part of the Wold Cup Carnival in London, some other venues have also put up giant screen for the city's hundreds of sports fans, these include HMV Apollo, Hampstead Everyman Cinema Club, Screen on the Green Everyman and at the Islington Academy.
