NFL considers return to London
Published: Wednesday 13th of May 2009
The National Football League (NFL) is looking into staging a second UK game every season.
So far, Wembley Stadium has hosted two games, with a third scheduled for later this year.
Roger Goodell, commissioner of the league, revealed: "The fan reaction we've had in London has been extraordinary. We would like to feed that passion."
He added that the possibility of extending overseas appearances was something they would evaluate.
Although staging the game in London is said to be up for consideration, it is also suggested that another location within the UK could be eligible for the event.
The NFL's first two games in London sold out, with New England set to play Tampa Bay on October 25th.
With the London Pass, visiting the city's top sporting attractions is easy and affordable.
Tourists can go on Lords Cricket Ground Tours, saving £14 on the price of an adult ticket and £8 on a child's.
