Get bowled over at Lord's, one of the top London attractions

Published: Wednesday 21st of November 2012

When looking for things to do in London that are sports-orientated, you'd be stumped when it comes to finding anywhere better than Lord's.

Known as the Home of Cricket, Lord’s Cricket Ground is not only the pride and joy of the English cricketing fraternity, it's also a fascinating arena to look round even if there isn't a game on.

So much cricketing history has taken place in the various parts of the ground and with a London Pass you'll be able to wander around to your heart's content and take it all in.

This includes areas such as the Pavilion, Long Room, Grandstand, Dressing Rooms and also the MCC Museum, while an expert guide will tell you everything you need to know.

On your hour-and-a-half tour you will be expertly led through the all of the history, architecture and current goings-on at Lords.

The ground is located in St John's Wood and can be easily accessed via the Tube system.
