Chelsea coach slams referee
Published: Thursday 7th of May 2009
Chelsea coach Gus Hiddink has criticised the referee at last night's match against Barcelona.
He claimed that Tom Henning Ovrebo, a Norwegian referee, denied his team a series of penalties during the game.
"We should have decided the game before getting into a worldwide discussion of the penalties," he told reporters.
He added that both players and coaches are capable of making mistakes, before referring to the judgements as the "worst refereeing" he had ever seen.
"At this moment I have to think a lot if I have ever seen worse," Hiddink concluded.
