Bicycles 'convenient, reliable'
Published: Tuesday 24th of March 2009
People heading to London might want to consider cycling round the city, as one expert claims it is a much cheaper way of getting around.
Vickie Robertson, marketing executive at Sustrans, says it is not only a fantastic way of getting around, but is also convenient.
"You can plan your journey a lot better because you know how long it's going to take you and you're not going to be hindered by delays or the circle line or traffic congestion," she reveals.
In addition to this, people are able to arrive at and leave a place when they choose, rather than relying on public transport to get around.
Those interested in taking a two-wheeled tour of the capital can do so with their London Pass.
Courtesy of the London Bicycle Tour Company, people can ride around the city on a mountain bike or more traditional cycle, saving themselves £18.95 with the pass.
