BBC gears up for Wimbledon
Published: Thursday 18th of June 2009
The BBC looks set to provide its best ever coverage of this year's Wimbledon tennis tournament.
It will commence on June 22nd, with the London club playing host to the world's biggest tennis stars, including Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
Fans will not only be able to follow the action on the main BBC channels, but its website will also show up-to-date action from the courts.
Commentary will come from tennis stars of times gone by, including the likes of John McEnroe, Virginia Wade, Greg Rusedski and Boris Becker.
What's more, the red button service will give tennis enthusiasts the opportunity to watch up to five matches as they happen, along with replays of some of the best from the tournament so far.
Once all the hype is over, visitors can head to the club for themselves thanks to the London Pass.
It allows people to embark on the Wimbledon Tour Experience for free, saving £18 per adult and £13 per child.
