Staff to get fit for a Queen

The Royal Mews, which houses the Queen's stable at Buckingham Palace, may see itself with a new addition before too long.
It has been announced that the 82 year-old Queen, ever the considerate employer, is to install a state-of-the-art fitness facility for her 450 staff in the historic building.
After seeing that many top firms in the FTSE 100 provide amenities such as gyms for their staff, in keeping with a widely-lauded 'healthy body, healthy mind' approach, she decided that the Royal Household should follow suit.
Reports indicate that three running machines, three cross-trainers, two exercise bikes, one rowing machine and a range of weights have all been ordered.
Personal trainers will also be on hand to help staff who might be a touch unaccustomed to fitness equipment, as the company looks to improve the condition of its staff.
At the present time, reports that Her Majesty will be donning the royal tracksuit and working up a sweat at a spinning class were unconfirmed.
While the gym facility will remain for private use only, visitors to the Royal Mews can gain free entry with their LondonPass, enjoying one of the finest working stables in the world with a right royal saving of £7.50 for adults and £4.80 for children. Sweatbands and water bottles not included.
