Prince could wed at Windsor Castle
Published: Monday 4th of August 2008
St George's Chapel at the historic Windsor Castle is among the possible venues where it is rumoured Prince William could marry his girlfriend Kate Middleton.
According to the Daily Star Sunday, Ms Middleton is ready to set a date for the ceremony, which it is believed will be some time next summer.
"She recently told her family this Christmas would be the last one she spends with them, which is a firm indication of the couple's plans," commented a source.
Other locations include Westminster Abbey - although it is linked with his mother princess Diana's funeral - and the St Paul's Cathedral.
It is believed that royal staff have begun talks with government officials about the possibility of making the wedding a national holiday.
Kate is said to be missing the prince, who is away on a drug-busting mission with the Royal Navy.
