Waterloo Quarter Food Festival for things to do in London

Foodies making their way to London attractions such the London Zoo or the HMS Belfast for a day of family fun can indulge their taste buds at the Waterloo Quarter Food Festival.

Full of mouth-watering offers from local restaurants and pubs in the area, visitors can also pick up tips from the master chefs at hand.

The head chef from Baltic will be taking centre stage at Emma Cons Gardens to host a live cookery show, to share advice and ideas and to appreciate the eastern European cuisine.

Picking up a Gastro Passport will help visitors make their way around the various events on hand including cheese tastings and an evening of wonderful jazz music to accompany their gourmet explorations.

Travellers can further utilise their time in the culture capital with a visit to the annual celebration of photography hosted at the National Theatre.

The event sees the best of press pictures from the British media from the past year being recognised and rewarded for their efforts to bring new stories come to life.
